Offering the best of both worlds, at Al Maha you can enjoy a Bedouin camp atmosphere together with exceptional luxury. Each of the 42 inviting canvas-covered suites has a super king size bed, satellite TV, DVD player, mini bar, complimentary WiFi and a generous bathroom with king size bath and separate shower. Plus, step onto your private wooden deck and sink into your own infinity pool overlooking the spectacular desert panoramas. If you are inspired by the view, an artists’ easel and paints are provided, and for a closer look at the wildlife, binoculars are also standard. Natural handicrafts, wood furnishings and bountiful cushions complete the mood, as does the attentive Arabian hospitality. The two bedroom Royal Suite, the Emirates Suite and three bedroom Presidential Suite are available for larger parties and include a spacious lounge area, a progressively bigger pool, and in the Emirates Suite and Presidential Suite, a spacious kitchen and the option of a private housekeeper and chef. The Presidential Suite also offers added benefits including a bottle of Champagne on arrival, a complimentary mini bar replenished daily, a selection of private and personalised activities and one free 60 minute spa treatment for the couple per stay.
Your stay is on a full board basis and Al Diwaan Restaurant offers plenty of choice, with a delicious blend of Arabic and international dishes and a backdrop of desert dunes, or if you prefer, in-suite dining, deck dining and picnics can all be arranged.
Fill your days with desert adventure and choose from a host of options, including archery, four wheel drive wildlife watching dune safaris and camel trekking with sundowners, part of your two complimentary options a day, or horse riding across the desert and dune bashing, at an additional charge. But this wouldn’t be the full desert experience without falconry and out here in the wild it really is something special. After a day in the desert, you can look forward to all the soothing pleasures of the Timeless Spa, with its authentic treatments, oasis style pool, sauna, steam room, indoor Jacuzzi and traditional Arabic lounge.
