There are 668 suites in a luxury residential style, and each block has its own look and feel. The decor is fresh and modern, and all suites include a private furnished balcony or terrace, air conditioning, flatscreen cable TV, WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, daily refreshed mini bar and in-room safe. Swim-out suites have direct pool access, and you can upgrade to the Preferred Club for additional amenities including dedicated butler service and upgraded bath amenities, room service menu and mini bar.
The resort boasts 9 restaurants and 7 bars and lounges, showcasing flavours from around the globe. Highlights include the Amazon-inspired Tierra, which features specialities from Brazil, Peru, Venezuela and Argentina, and the fusion cuisine of Mediterrasian. Other options range from pan-Asian to traditional Italian, along with more casual venues like the Seaside Grill. Desire sports bar and nightclub is the place to be after dark, and there is also a swim-up pool bar when you need to cool off with a cocktail during the day. The Sip, Savor & See programme allows you to dine around at Secrets Tides’ nearby sister resorts, of which there are many.

There are 3 pools (1 exclusively for Preferred Club guests), a fitness centre, pickleball court and the wonderful Secrets Spa, which includes a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, steam room and 6 double massage rooms. Watersports on offer include kayaking, sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing and scuba diving, and you can try Spanish and dance classes, or play golf nearby.

There is a real ‘wow’ moment on arrival here, as you enter the open air lobby to be met with a stunning view of the Caribbean Sea.
Secrets Tides opened in January 2024, and the location to the north of the main Punta Cana strip offers a little more peace and seclusion.
It’s well worth upgrading to the Preferred Club for exclusive access to a private pool, two outdoor hot tubs, dedicated beach area and private lounge, where continental breakfast and afternoon hors d’oeuvres are served daily.
