Otocec Castle

This unique castle sits on a pretty island in the shallow watercourse of the Krka River. A medieval castle of great charm, Otocec was built in 1252 and rebuilt as a hotel in 1959 and last renovated in 2007, retaining its character and authenticity in this magical setting. With just 16 luxurious rooms and suites Otocec is also a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux, the food and wines served here are exceptional. The castle has an organic garden which provides the castle chefs with fresh and seasonal produce all year round. In addition, it also has its own 18-hole golf course.
