Set amongst immaculate gardens on the southwest coast of Mallorca, 15 minutes’ walk from the beach.

Accommodation

125 smartly appointed rooms and suites are housed in four attractive ochre-hued buildings, all with a large private terrace or balcony. In-room amenities include air-conditioning, LCD satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, iPod docking station, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, in-room safe and a marble bathroom with separate shower and oversize tub, and all room categories include butler service. There are a number of interconnecting options for families, as well as dedicated Family Rooms that accommodate two adults and two children, featuring a sofa bed and a games console. The more spacious Suites have a kitchenette and a dining area, with one or two bedrooms. The Mardavall Diamond Suite also has a private sauna, steam room and outdoor Jacuzzi, while the Blue Oasis Suite has its own heated outdoor pool.

Restaurants And Bars

The amazing Es Fum, open for dinner during the summer months and overseen by chef Miguel Navarro, has a Michelin star, and offers a ten-course tasting menu or a smaller six-course ‘Petit Menu’, complete with wine pairings. Aqua is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an all-day menu showcasing Mediterranean cuisine and a shaded canopy to keep you cool during the day. Next door to Aqua is Brisas, a buffet-style dining room especially for kids. Bar Es Vent is the stylish lobby lounge where you can enjoy cocktails and tapas, and there is also a poolside bar.

The nearest beach is a beautiful stretch of golden sand, 15 minutes on foot or a 5-minute drive. Back at the hotel, plush loungers are scattered around the immaculately kept gardens, with a cascading outdoor swimming pool as the centrepiece. The Arabella Spa is one of Europe’s largest at over 50,000 square feet, and includes an indoor saltwater pool, 11 treatment rooms, Jacuzzi, sauna, hydropool, ice cave and Chinese medicine centre, offering treatments including reflexology, acupuncture and herbal baths. There is also a state-of-the-art fitness centre, with personal training services available, plus tennis courts nearby and a jogging track around the hotel grounds. The Explorer Club for kids aged 3-12 yrs includes two shaded swimming pools, a sand pit, video games and books, and organises activities including treasure hunts, painting and cookery classes. It’s a 15-minute drive to the Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint golf courses, with discounted green fees for St Regis guests.
