A 30 minute drive from Nevsehir airport and 1 hour from Kayseri airport.
On the edge of the ancient town of Uçhisar.
There are 51 rooms and suites housed within seven separate ‘mansions’, with a choice between staying in a cave room hewn from the rock or one of the modern additions, which have a more orthodox square shape. Each room is unique, and you can expect a balcony or fireplace, antique Turkish rugs, local stone and wood, and an artful combination of traditional handicrafts with modern design. In-room amenities include air conditioning, Bose sound system, Nespresso machine, WiFi, mini bar, in-room safe and Molton Brown bathroom products. Suites have a separate living room and open onto either a terrace, balcony or courtyard, while Tiraz Jacuzzi Suites have a private hot tub on the balcony, and the amazing Splendid Suites have a private plunge pool.
Seki Restaurant showcases the culinary diversity of Anatolia, with succulent slow-cooked meats, local cheeses and fruit and vegetables fresh from the hotel’s organic garden. At the Seki Lounge you can enjoy a Turkish coffee, afternoon tea or an evening cocktail while enjoying the spectacular views from the outdoor terrace, or from a cosy spot in front of the fireplace thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel also offers cookery classes where you can prepare local dishes using ingredients from the hotel garden.
There is a small outdoor pool, heated in winter and refreshingly cool during the summer months. At the Therapy Room you can enjoy a massage in a unique cave setting, and there are plenty of outdoor activities on offer, including sunrise yoga, horse riding and bike tours. Other ways to explore the region include hot air balloon rides, full moon walks, culinary tours and vineyard visits.
"Argos in Cappadocia is a great choice for honeymooners, not least the romantic Splendid Suites, constructed from volcanic tuff and each with its own private cave pool"
"The restoration of this unique place was a real labour of love, and took over 26 years to complete"
"Fruits picked from the hotel garden are dried and preserved in the traditional Cappadocia fashion - stored in a fairy chimney!"
"Cappadocia’s fertile volcanic soil and sunny climate makes it a great place for growing grapes, and the hotel owns two vineyards, producing both native Anatolian wines and well-known international varieties such as Shiraz and Chardonnay"
"This makes a great stop on a multi-centre stay in Turkey"
"There’s a great range of restaurants; my top tip is book a table at Ouzo for a truly Greek experience. For even more options, we recommend you use the shuttle bus to travel into the old town and dine out at one of the restaurants included in the All-Inclusive plan."
"Definitely look to book some treatments at the world-class Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin, a totally relaxing hideaway - There’s some great shopping to be had in nearby Corfu Old Town, but try to avoid the cruise ship day-trippers so you have the pick of the treasures."
"Upgrading to the Deluxe Collection suites brings with it a range of extra perks, including access to the exclusive beach area and upgraded service and toiletries, as well as minibar amenities.”
