Villas on Play are well set up for families with spacious living areas that can sleep up to two children and One, Two and Three Bedroom Pavilions for larger parties. Ten dining experiences offer an extensive range of dining experiences, highlights include the unique underwater restaurant, Subsix, set away from the main island and the recently renovated NEST restaurant, nestled in the tree tops whilst Rum, Ribs and Reggae can be enjoyed at the weekly party. After a day’s surfing, guests can hang out at Surf Shack with its laid-back bar, tomato-red food truck, bean bags and swings to relax on. This chic and welcoming resort boasts 134 Villas, Suites and Pavilions set over two natural tropical islands. The latest technology, including plasma TV and Bose surround sound, plus a full size Deli-in fridge of drinks and snacks, with complimentary ice cream replenished daily, means everything has been thought of here. On CHILL, individual Beach Villas are surrounded by natural gardens to ensure privacy reigns, with a front terrace leading straight onto the soft white sands. At the back, beautiful partially open bathrooms feature a terrazo bath and indoor and outdoor rain showers. Water Villas have an ocean facing bed and stunning over-water infinity plunge pool and Deluxe Water Pool Villas have a pool with Jacuzzi. On PLAY, the Beach Villas with Pool are perfect for families, with a separate living room that can sleep up to two children under 12 yrs. We also like the One and Two Bedroom Beach Pavilions, with central living room and sunken seating area for floor to ceiling ocean views, a master bedroom and twin bedroom each with their own adjoining bathroom, an expansive private pool and small kitchen. All types of accommodation also have a Thakuru (On-Call Shared Personal Assistance). 

Restaurants And Bars

The food here is absolutely superb and of the nine restaurants and bars special mention must go to Tribal, for its intimate canopied setting and divine Latin American and African fusion flavours. Also on CHILL is Epicure, offering a selection of delicious and fresh international dishes and fantastic seafood. Edge is the exclusive over-water restaurant, only accessible by boat, with an elegant menu of seafood and prime meats. Two further dining venues on PLAY include the tree house style Nest, offering an imaginative Asian menu and upper deck with tables among the treetops and BLU is the all-day dining restaurant. Subsix, the world’s first underwater club offers stunning views of the surrounding marine life with wine tasting in the glass wine cellar, and Fahrenheit is a rooftop bar ideal for sundowners.

Facilities

FLOAT watersports centre offers a wide range of pursuits including snorkelling with the resident marine biologist and gaining your PADI dive certificate. There are 2 main pools, one on each island and a 24-hour fitness hub with a studio for Yoga, Thai Chi and even Zumba. Drift Spa has a tranquil garden setting and 8 treatment rooms, including over-water rooms, and offers signature treatments and bespoke options using local ingredients like Maldivian coral sand and coconut oil. The excellent Explorers Kids' Club ensures that you kids aged 1 - 12 yrs are well taken care of.
