Soneva Jani is a one-of-a-kind island playground where luxury, sustainability and nature blend seamlessly. The majority of Soneva Jani’s 58 exquisite villas are above the water, each with its own private pool and direct lagoon access. Many also have fun waterslides that lead straight from the top floor into the lagoon, and feature retractable roofs in the master bedrooms, allowing you to sleep under the stars. The island villas are surrounded by lush greenery, steps from the white sandy beach, and also come with private pools. All guests enjoy the services of a 'Barefoot Guardian', your personal butler who ensures every need is taken care of. Each villa includes air conditioning, TV, Bose sound system, bicycles or tricycles, a walk-in mini bar with espresso machine and private wine fridge, in-room safe and WiFi, plus a spacious outdoor deck with sun loungers.

Restaurants And Bars

Culinary highlights here are almost too many to mention. At the heart of the resort lies The Gathering, a stunning three-storey over-water structure that houses various dining options, the spa, library and retail area. Overseas by Mathias Dahlgren focuses on organic produce with pescatarian, vegetarian and plant-based dishes, while So Wild by innovative raw food chef Diana Von Cranach revives ancient Indonesian and Southeast Asian recipes with a plant-based twist. The award-winning Crab Shack, hailed as the world’s most romantic restaurant in 2019, serves fresh seafood in a beachfront setting, and the Asian Kitchen delivers authentic flavours from across the world’s largest continent. There are all sorts of special dining experiences scattered around the resort, from street food to fire pit roasts to an outdoor teppanyaki table by the over-water silent cinema. You can also grab ice cream, chocolates, charcuterie and cheeses at So Chill.
