OUR Mauritius SPECIALIST

"Heritage Le Telfair is a favourite of mine for two reasons. One, it has one of the best golf courses on the island, which is free to use and is set in beautiful rolling hills with great views, and two, it is particularly good for families. I recently stayed there with my wife and children and we had a great time. They have a very well equipped kids' centre, with its own shallow pool for them to splash about in whilst parents relax on the sun loungers nearby.

There are loads of activities, and a heated pool too, which not many hotels in Mauritius offer. Especially in our summer months, a heated pool can be necessary so that the kids can splash about all day long. I remember our kids going to the kids' club one day, and they were taken on a little fishing expedition, whilst mum and dad were sunbathing with a cocktail.

The hotel has some really lovely dining options. One of the best things about Le Telfair is that it's located in a less developed part of the island, so it's stunning and nice and quiet. This doesn’t mean you have to travel far to get to it though, the hotel is only 45 minutes from the airport, which is also great for families!"
