Responsible Tourism

At Caribtours we believe strongly in responsible tourism, and we work with a number of luxury hotels in the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Indian Ocean and Arabia who are engaged in good sustainable practices.

Many of the luxury hotel groups we work with, such as Six Senses, Four Seasons, Anantara, LUX* Island Resorts and Shangri-La, have already made significant efforts to operate in a more sustainable way. We are now encouraging our hotels to adopt the Travelife Sustainability System, our preferred scheme for recognising those working to reduce their negative environmental and social impact. A number of our hotels have also received awards from other well-respected schemes such as Green Globe and EarthCheck.

Below is a selection of hotels that have been recognised with one of these awards, or that we feel have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to protecting the environment and helping local communities.
