The creation of jungle bay was a labour of love for owner Sam Raphael. Hand-crafted from local materials, the resort consists of 60 stone and hardwood villas, overlooking the Caribbean sea and the highly biodiverse Soufriere and Scotts head marine reserve.
The 60 delightful designed eco villas are scattered across a hillside, nestled within banana plants, tropical trees and flowers. Guests can choose to take a large, private villa suite or villa room. The daily-changing menus at The Calabash Restaurant focus on tasty, wholesome meals with a particular emphasis on fresh seafood, chicken and vegetarian dishes prepared using locally-grown organic produce. The resort offers an excellent programme of nature-based activities, excursions and wellness experiences, all included. The yoga classes and daily spa treatments, which are included in your stay will soothe aching muscles or relax in Jungle Bay’s infinity swimming pool which boasts a spectacular sea view. Within the Jungle Bay site, there are tropical fruit trees, a banana and pineapple plantation, and a tropical vegetable and herb garden to explore during nature walks, or head to the ocean for snorkelling trips.
