Accommodation

There are 204 rooms, suites and bungalows. Mixing bohemian luxe and Cretan design detail, the rooms, suites and bungalows are relaxed and elegant. Elements of nature and the gardens are brought in with shades of green and plant motifs on the walls. The two-bedroom Deluxe Suite comes with ocean views from a private balcony and a four-poster bed. Select Bungalows feature a terrace with direct access to the hotel’s river pool. Families will love the Deluxe Family Bungalow with a bunk bed in the second bedroom.

Restaurants And Bars

There are three restaurants to choose from here. Mouries serves authentic Cretan dishes in a taverna-style atmosphere, where the emphasis is very much on sharing. The poolside and informal Mezze has a menu inspired by cuisine from the Levant, whilst Almyra is an Italian restaurant, close to the beach and pool, overlooking the sea and offering sustainably sourced Italian dishes with local ingredients and amazing desserts. Mediterraneo is the main all-day restaurant serving a sumptuous buffet including local specialty dishes and ingredients. There is also Melissi, a sophisticated lounge bar offering an elegant setting and hand-crafted cocktails and a selection of local Greek wine. Kafeino is a traditional Greek coffee shop serving a selection of coffee, Cretan meze dishes and local desserts. The Beach Shack is right on the beachfront and offers light dishes including raw food and vegan options.

Facilities

There are two fresh water pools (one heated during colder moths), fully-equipped gym, organic kitchen garden and outdoor yoga areas. The Cute Spa is home to two treatment rooms, where both body and face treatments for men and women are carried out following a restorative approach. Children between 3-12 yrs will enjoy the fun-packed Kids Clubs. There is also a three-thousand-five hundred- year-old archaeological ruin nearby and the island’s most famous site – the Palace of Knossos is just forty minutes away.
