The 86 villas are among the most spacious in the Seychelles, stylishly appointed and each boasting a private plunge pool, balcony and outdoor pavilion. Villas also enjoy both an indoor shower and outdoor rain shower, plus a bath positioned to make the most of the stunning vistas. All villas have full or partial views of the ocean, depending on how high up the hillside they are; the Panoramic Pool Villas, located at the very top, provide a breathtaking vantage point from which to gaze out across the azure waters towards the neighbouring islands. The larger one and two bedroom Raffles and Royal Villas include 24-hour butler service, a separate living area, kitchenette and outdoor sheltered barbecue grill, and there are 2 Royal Beachfront Villas right on the sand. Amenities include a 42” plasma TV, DVD player, iPod docking station, WiFi access, Nespresso machine and a private bar.
Losean restaurant offers fine dining at its best with classic Mediterranean dishes reinvented for the modern palate, while the elegant but relaxed Curieuse presents a taste of Asia with dishes from India, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia and fresh sushi and sashimi. The Pool Restaurant & Bar provides a more casual setting, with a live cooking grill for barbecue options and Creole specialities such as Seychellois curries and fresh seafood on offer. For a light snack there is Pti Zil Beach Bar, with service also available directly from your sun lounger. In the evening Danzil Lounge offers a selection of fine wines, rums, cocktails and Cuban cigars, or chill out at the rooftop Takamaka Terrace, where you can enjoy a mojito under the stars.
Cool off with 2 beautiful infinity pools, or let go of your troubles at the soothing Raffles Spa, offering 13 treatment pavilions, including a special couples’ spa suite. Activities on offer include table tennis, beach football, cycling and watersports such as snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and diving. We also recommend taking the 10 minute boat ride across to little Curieuse Island, a natural sanctuary home to almost 500 giant tortoises, mangrove swamps and many rare bird species. The excellent Sugar Palm Club caters for children of all ages, with separate areas for teenagers, children 4-12 yrs and infants (infants under 4 yrs must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter).
If you’re looking for a dining experience with a difference, there is no shortage of options here: a romantic candlelit meal under the stars, a dinner prepared by the resort’s chef in the privacy of your own villa, or even a trip to a neighbouring island for a barbecue on the beach
As well as being the perfect place for romance, Raffles Praslin makes a great family getaway, with all villas large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under 12 yrs and two bedroom Royal Villas up to 6 people. Kids also stay free when sharing a villa with their parents
